Dear valued Cable Plus subscriber,
As we announced on January 26th, 2011, Cable Plus will be launching our new email and collaboration services, which is now powered by Google Apps™, on February 9th, 2011 .
Your Cable Plus email address will stay the same and all of the following Google Apps™ will be included with your upgraded Cable Plus account:
- Gmail - Inbox with search function: keep and find everything.
- Calendar - Makes sharing calendars and schedules with family, friends or colleagues easy.
- Docs - Makes collaborating as easy as creating documents.
- Sites - Allows you to manage your own sites.
- Talk - Instant messaging and video chat as easy as email.
- Mobile Synch - Stay in contact while on the go.
What We're Migrating We will be migrating your email data as follows:
- Messages in your current webmail Inbox (including subfolders) and Sent folder ==> to your new Cable Plus webmail account
- Personal contacts in your webmail address book ==> to Personal Contacts in your new Cable Plus webmail account
If you haven't accessed your email box via a client (Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, etc.) or in webmail in the past 180 days, please be aware that it will not be migrated to the new platform and will be disabled in the current email system. Please make sure that you access all of your email addresses before February 9th, 2011 12:00AM.

NOT be migrating webmail calendar appointments or contents.
Migration Schedule The following is the schedule for the migration of your email data to our new email service. February 9th, 2011, from 12:00AM - 5:00AM, EDT
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
- If you are currently forwarding your Cable Plus email to a third party account (Yahoo, Google, Hotmail etc.), please follow the steps provided on pages 2-4 in the attached Email Setup Guide.
- If your email account currently resides in Windows Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail, you can utilize the Quick Email Setup Tool created for your convenience. The Quick Email Setup Tool will automatically adjust the configuration settings for your account in just a few minutes. Go to http://www.broadbandsupport.net and click on Quick Email Setup Tool.
- If your email account currently resides in Apple Mail / Outlook, Thunderbird or other programs, please follow the steps provided in the attached Email Setup Guide. This guide shows you how to log in to your new Cable Plus email account powered by Gmail™ and access the email and calendar services.
- If you are currently using webmail:
- Your existing calendar entries will NOT be migrated to the new Gmail™ platform. Print your current webmail Calendar before February 9th, 2011, 12:00AM, so you can transfer your current calendar events into your new Calendar.
- Please open the Email Setup Guide and see pages 27-35 for information on new features.
- If you are unable to open the Email Setup Guide, please use this link to download Adobe Reader http://get.adobe.com/reader/
- Ensure that you update your bookmark for your Cable Plus webmail access to: http://webmail.cableplus.tv. The http://mail.cableplus.tv will no longer be available after the conversion is completed.
